Appendix F - Cryptographic export laws (US and other)

Cryptographic export laws are generally speaking one of the messiest and hard to understand areas of law. There are also a number of international agreements and treaties that affect export status of software, making things rather complicated. For a general report on cryptographic controls around the world please see EPIC's report at:

http://www2.epic.org/reports/crypto2000/

They also have the new US export regulations, which are not easily understood, I suggest you hire a good laywer.
